Snow Shovellers

We are looking for 3 people for our client who provides snow removal in the Port Hope and Cobourg area.   You will join a crew to assist with removing snow from pathways and steps and laying salt where needed.   This position is on-call.   Depending on the arrival of the snow, you may be required to arrive at the yard as early as 3 am in Cobourg or Port Hope.  You must be physically fit and have good stamina to work 4-10 hour shifts and you must wear appropriate winter clothing.

START DATE:   To be Advised

RATE OF PAY: $18.72 p/h 

HOURS OF WORK: Will vary depending on the weather

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Able to work any day of the week to shovel snow or lay salt
  • Able to report to work at the yard as early as 3.00 am
  • Must be physically fit and have good stamina
  • Able to work in all weathers
  • Must have your own reliable transportation to the yard in either Port Hope or Cobourg
  • Previous experience shoveling snow an asset
