Leasing Consultant
Bentley Staffing is seeking to hire a full-time leasing consultant for their client in Kingston, Ontario. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly individual with excellent customer service and sales skills who will be responsible for ensuring a positive community experience for residents. Must be proficient in all aspects of social media and poster design and have high-level communication skills. Additionally, the leasing consultant will be familiar with lead-generation and closing techniques and be able to sell to both students and parents. The person must also be comfortable presenting to large groups at campus events and able to run on-site monthly events.

SALARY: $44,000

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and hosting of resident events.
- Maintain a social media presence at the property level by promoting events and engaging with current residents.
- Help residents in the move-in and move-out processes.
- Establish relationships with key community groups, educational establishments, businesses, and stakeholders to maintain a positive presence within the community.
- Assist in the performance of the turn process.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Greet prospective residents and show them models, market-ready units, and common areas.
- Prepare and follow through with the monthly Accounts Receivable and N4 process.
- Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of the office, common areas and model (if applicable).
- Assist prospective residents with the completion of online applications.
- Respond to internet leads, answer prospect calls and conduct property tours following the guidelines outlined in the training materials.
- Contribute to optimizing occupancy while maximizing leased rent.
- Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios, and work to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy percentages.
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition.
- Perform various administrative tasks.
- Assist with market surveys as needed.
- Collect deposit and/or fees associated with move-in.
- Accurately prepare and have a thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork.
- Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data and assist with other computer data entry as necessary.
- Inspect units every quarter as well as before move-in.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and sales experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in all aspects of social media and poster design

- Comfortable presenting to large groups
- Able to track activity with a high degree of accuracy
- Friendly, outgoing with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
